Accompanied by a lot of forward thinking sounds tossed alongside the seductive basslines, spaced out synth patterns and the occasional effect filled vocal sequences, all four tracks build up the pressure until an energy-infused breakdown leads the way to even more mayhem.
Opening with the title track Avoid DJ Le Roi is serving nothing short of a late night anthem. Based on a well-pumping foundation and introduced by sweet organic synths a shimmering, ever moving and evolving motif unfolds, weighing in the right amount of iriscedent glitz whilst paying homage to the neon loving 80s futurism brought to the world by many early electronic music greats.
The original version of Colours fuses big room TechHouse, a slightly proggy feel and ever morphing Acid references to a great, spiralling and well-enthralling effect, building up nicely before Forrest serves a killer vocal performance that is yet simple, powerful and fascinating, an anthemic array of words that a new generation of punters will never forget once they've heard them on a large rig. Instant classic detected.
